A brief list of enhancements include:

• Added initial support for UG annotation.
• Added support for reading SolidWorks 2009 parts.
• Added support to allow Exchange to read Inventor 2009 files.
• Added support for reading blanked status data from Inventor files.
• Added functionality to allow Exchange to extend a face to meet its 3D trimming.
• Allow Exchange to group faces of exploded solids when writing ddx files.
• Exchange will now write AutoCad filenames correctly in Japanese.
• Support for reading Pro/E wildfire 4 parts was added in Exchange 5.6, but omitted from the "What's New" notes.
